Happy Birthday to my boy Shane, who today turns sweet sixteen. Or older. Who can say? The point is its the man's birthday, and its time to go celebrate.
I hope everyone is well
(And Shane I hope you're ready for your party)
Peace,
Joe

Well.. thank you jo-jo bean! It was, as you know, a wonderful berfum-a-day celebration. Michelle and I began the week-end watching Young Frankenstein on the 29th (Insert -- "Puttn-on-the ritz") at the Alabama Theater. I awoke the next day to the smell of good coffee - always a delightful experience. We lounged around and headed to Chez LuLu where we had a fantastic lunch. Later that evening, we had an exquisite dinner at Highlands! (yummy) Afterwards, we took in the broadway play "Gypsy" at the Virginia-Samford Theatre. It was awesome! Later we met, among other celebrities, you, and had a smashing evening of bar hoppin and hanging at my place til bout 4:00 a.m. All was good.
Oh.. almost forgot. I seem to recall something really big happening around my 16th birthday. Hmmm... oh yes... just shortly before my sweet 16, "they" had invented fire!
